Why I'm here

I am father of three. I lost my job and was on the brink of financial ruin. I feared we were going to lose everything. I decided I was sick of being a slave to the man. I wanted to control my financial freedom. No more boss. No more glass ceiling and corporate politics. I wanted to stop living paycheck to paycheck. I wanted to be able to take my kids to school each morning and attend their special events. I wanted to control my paycheck by working hard and having unlimited earning potential. And I found a system that changed my life.

Progress...

It's been a couple of days but I hope all of you had a wonderful Easter with your family.  I know I did, and it was good to reflect on what I have done so far.  A lot has been accomplished and feel good about where my life is going.  Today, I got to help out a cousin of mine that I haven't seen in a very long time and it feels great to reconnect with family.  While I sit here and work at 11:15PM, I know that all this hard work and dedication I'm putting into this will pay off and it already has.  I'm not only going to be financially free very soon, but I'm family rich.  Never will I be at job again that makes me miss my kids' activities.  Never will I get home late and be too tired to do anything.  With that, that is incredible progress that I've made over the last year.

I hope all of you take steps to progress in your life and always move towards to OWN YOUR LIFE!!!

Excitied

Hello Leaders

First off, I wish everyone a happy and safe Easter.  After some hard work, this online rookie (me), got my website launched to help people achieve financial freedom.  I can't tell you how excited I am and how motivated I am to get this off the ground and moving.  I've talked to a lot of people about this and getting peoples mind thinking about what is truly possible.  I know where I'm going and nothing can be more liberating than that.  It's as simple as that.  When you have personal direction and confidence in your plan, it's skies the limit on your success regardless of what you are trying to achieve.  That is what truly gets me up to work hard and to become a leader and expert of my craft.

I wish all of you an incredible weekend and as always...OWN YOUR LIFE!!!

Persistance

It's going into the downhill of my 2nd week with Infinity2Global and with this world of instant gratification, I fall victim to that as well.  But last night some great things took place and I can really envision even more how my future with being self employed will end up....SUCCESSFUL!!!  I'm so motivated now I couldn't sleep...lol

Now as good as motivation is, the one constant I learned is that dedication is steadfast and motivation comes and goes.  If you remain dedicated to your craft while practicing habits that's made many others successful, you will succeed.

So persist and dedicate yourself to your trade and when motivation spikes, make the most of it and take advantage of it is present.  Just don't rely on it.

Always take steps to OWN YOUR LIFE!!!

A Great Story

A friend of mine posted this and I wanted to share it with all of you.  This was an amazing story of good will and pay it forward.  I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Story 1 - While shopping @ HyVee on E Euclid, I got in line behind a woman who had brought a $20 bill to buy her dinner/necessities.... She commented how she had hoped she'd have enuf, as it was all she had with her...she thought the sliced cheese was on sale....upon... a quick price check, it was not & put her *over*. She advised the cashier (who resembled a Living Ken doLL ~ btw) to remove the purchase from her bill...so the young high school worker who sacked her groceries fished thru the bag to remove it.

I said, "you take the cheese & I'll pay for it!" The woman refused my offer & thanked me, I flashed her my tray of ready made burgers that were going on my grill when I got home and said, "See! I'm getting burgers but I have the cheese @ home - You've GOT to have your cheese!!!"....the woman further refused.

It was NOT my intention to damage her pride. She could've had $500 back @ home for all that matters....but I know what it's like when you only have, so much money

I firmly told Ken, aka Josh H. to, "charge me for the cheese, do not put it back on the shelf and please send her w/ the cheese" He rung it up, passed the cheese to the lady and he smiled in acknowledgement of my pay it forward moment but said nothing more.

After she hesitantly took the cheese but beamed with thanks, she came towards me like she may want to go back in to the store thru the check out line, so I backed up my cart slightly to get out of her way.....she leaned in and said, "No, I want you to know that I went to the doctor today and found two lumps on my breast and you're just a lifesaver! TY!" She looked liked she could've cried. Heck, I could've cried as I could completely empathize as to her situation.

I hardly felt like a lifesaver but I Blessed her and her daughter who had caught up with her towards the end of sale in the line.....they went about their way and I paid for my purchase. Josh grinned from ear to ear @ me and asked for my fuel saver card....that was pmt enough for me - HaHa!!!!(jussss sayin!!!!)

Once I got back to the MadMaMaMiNiVaN I examined my receipt....NO WHERE on that receipt was I charged for the Kraft American sliced cheese. I immediately started bawling like a baby and I was even wearing my pigtaiLs today to truly complete the part!!!!!

I was truly touched by the impact Josh & I BOTH just made, over a $3 purchase that literally gave this woman the HOPE I'm certain she is desperately seeking in this scary time. May GOD BLESS her and anyone who stuck around to read this extremely long, short story ~ G<3d SPEED!!!!! — feeling blessed

Make a change

Good morning leaders,

I just watched a video a speech by Steve Jobs at a commencement ceremony.  It was awesome and I encourage a lot of you to check it out if you can. He explains what drove him and where he started.  How he garnered that visionary spirit and how it drove him to succeed and help others.

I want to make that kind of change and create that kind of impact on as many people as I can.  I want to create my own legacy and make my stamp on this world.  That is what drives me.  Making a positive impact and by doing that, making a change in my attitude and desires in life.  It's not about having the most expensive car, house, ect.  For me now, it's all about making others successful and no Ferrari can replace that.

So make a change and OWN YOUR LIFE!!!

It's Friday!!!

Good morning leaders!

I want to thank all of you that have read my blog and can only hope that it helps in some fashion.  I've been logging a lot of hours towards my new venture, and I tell you what...I'd rather not be doing anything else.  Being introduced to I2G is truly a dream come true. I know it sounds cliche and everything but I truly look forward to the next day because I feel I'm taking steps in making a difference in people's lives.  Although the drawback is, is that I can't shut my brain off sometimes and lack of sleep may catch up to me. Lol. I know it's all worth it in the end and nothing will be more professionally rewarding.

Go out their and make a difference and always OWN YOUR LIFE!!!

Self Freedoms and Liberties

I asked a question today on facebook, "What would you be doing if money wasn't a concern?"  That's a very liberating question when you think about it.  Think of things that you could be doing or who you could be helping.  It's a great exercise to think out side of the box and to really allow your creative juices to flow. The answer I came up with is, helping others achieve their own personal success.  Whether that is a business venture, becoming better at their craft, or just trying to be a better person and making sound decisions.  I've really make a ton of mistakes that's hurt my family, whether that's abandoning them on my poor and selfish choices, or not being their as a father and family man.  With taking steps to OWN MY LIFE, I've figured out how liberating and focused I've become.

So what would you do?

One week in

Today marks a week when I finally decided to move forward with my new endeavor.  I can't be more excited or more motivated to make the proper changes that going to make me happy and be able to make positive differences in many people's lives.  To quote my mentor, Bishop Stewart, "to make a large mark on life, you need to make a lot of small marks on a lot of people."  That is so true and that's the kind of impact I want to have on people and to become a leader in life!

OWN YOUR LIFE!!!

Own Your Life

Good Morning Leaders!

I was having a very hard time shutting my brain off last night just thinking how I can improve my business and my life.  What occurred to me is that I discovered what my mantra is now...OWN MY LIFE.

Own your life, own what you do and what you are trying to achieve.  Once you have grasped that concept you are more than capable achieving incredible results no matter what you are trying to achieve.  Those three irrelevant words are pretty powerful when put together.

What I encourage all of you to do, is to find your mantra and dedicate yourself to live by it.

Have a great day leaders and OWN YOUR LIFE!!!

Personal Persistence

Good morning,

One of the things I've realized while starting this new and exciting venture is that you have to have personal persistence.  There have been times while working for "the man", it took everything I had to get out of bed and work that day.  It's an awful thing to wake up in the morning and dreading to go do what you are getting "paid" to do.  I've worked many jobs and never found one that made me truly happy.  When I finally decided to take control of my personal freedom, it's a feeling like no other.  I have a much clearer vision now of what I can accomplish and what I'm truly capable of.  I think that only comes with being happy about what I'm embarking on.  So while this is scary and I've invested a lot into it, I couldn't be more excited about what's to come.  Hope you all have a great day in discovering what your personal persistence is and how incredibly strong you can be.
